A Royal Weekend in Apeldoorn
As ‘A Royal Weekend in Leeuwarden’ in October 2024 was a huge success, Ted Rosvall, Bearn Bilker and I have decided to also organize ‘A Royal Weekend’ in 2025. This time the event is to take place in the Bilderberg Hotel De Keizerskroon in Apeldoorn, The Netherlands, on 11 and 12 October 2025. The hotel is located next to Palace Het Loo.
The exact program is yet to be determined, but we are very happy to announce we have been able to compile a very nice list of speakers once again.

- Susan Woolmans – Archduke Franz Ferdinand of Austria
- Simone Lamain – Luxembourg
- Mårten Hougström – Het Loo and its royal inhabitants
- Ted Rosvall – Royal Pingpong – the many links between Sweden, Denmark and Norway
- Bearn Bilker – Princess Henriette of Nassau-Weilburg, wife of Archduke Charles of Austria, Duke of Teschen
The contribution for the conference, meeting and a dinner itself is 150 euro. For more details about payment, please use the e-mail address below. It will be possible only attend one day, in case you are not able to come both days.
A maximum of 70 guests can participate. The language of communication during the weekend is English. In 2024 we had participants from The Netherlands, Belgium, Germany, Sweden, Norway, United Kingdom, USA and New Zealand. Thus far in 2025 people from The Netherlands, Belgium, Germany, Sweden, Denmark, United Kingdom, USA and Australia have registered.
